Out N About Columbus

Out N About Columbus is a 30 minute weekly show airing on ABC 6 and the CW in the Columbus Market. As the Video Production Manager with the show, I film, edit, export, and deliver the final product for broadcast. Additionally, I manage a small team of freelancers and part time employees as I organize schedules for the production process.

Each show highlights a different theme of businesses. As the Video Production Manager, I interact with clients daily and ensure they enjoy the video production process and receive a final edit they love. Part of this role involved answering production questions and prepping the clients on what to expect during the production and after the production.

Julia Neville

Julia Neville is a country singer based out of Logan, Ohio. Her songs are amazing and personal, but what makes her something special is her relationship with her fans. Every show she gets there early and talks to every person she can until the moment she gets on stage for the night.

I had the opportunity to share Julia’s talent. More than that, I got to see how much of a passion she has for her community and for her fans.

I started my career in media as a News Photographer with Nexstar. This challenging role in video production established my dedication to self improvement and willingness to push beyond any requirements for a specific position.

In news I quickly moved from beginner Photographer, to Senior Photographer training every new Photographer and Reporter on Adobe Premiere and how to use their camera equipment. My success in the Rockford market pushed me to find the next step.

This led me to WDTN in Dayton, Ohio where I worked through 2020. Bringing them from their old editing system up to date with Adobe Premiere. My success in the Dayton Area led me to search for more creative work that would offer the challenges that News couldn’t.
